INTRODUCTION
XBD Collective’s Residential Architecture Services are inspired by a commitment to designing homes that blend luxury, functionality, and thoughtful planning.
From private villas to residential master plans and apartment complexes, every project is envisioned to enhance the lives of its residents, offering spaces that are not just beautiful but also purpose-driven and practical.
Residential architecture at XBD Collective is all about creating spaces that reflect the individuality of those who live in them. Whether designing a private home, a multi-residential complex, or a large-scale master plan, we tailor every project to meet the unique aspirations of its residents.
From the initial concept phase, we work closely with clients and stakeholders to develop designs that embody their vision and goals. Our architects carefully consider every element—from spatial planning and materials to the harmony between interiors and landscapes—ensuring that every project balances innovation, functionality, and timeless elegance.
Sustainability is at the heart of our residential architecture services. By employing advanced building techniques, energy-efficient materials, and environmentally conscious strategies, we create homes and communities that are future-ready and environmentally responsible.
Every project integrates natural light, ventilation, and cutting-edge technology to optimise both comfort and efficiency. Whether it’s a bespoke villa or an expansive master-planned development, you can trust XBD Collective to deliver spaces that are an investment in sustainability, design excellence, and lasting value.

"At XBD Collective, residential architecture is about more than just designing buildings; it's about creating entire communities that resonate with the aspirations and lifestyles of future homeowners and residents. Leading the master planning and residential architecture for AlThuraya Island was a defining moment in my career—bringing to life four unique residential typologies, a community centre, and a mosque that together form a cohesive, vibrant neighbourhood.
What sets XBD apart is our commitment to a truly integrated design approach. We take pride in building a solid foundation at the master plan and architectural levels, carefully considering the needs and aspirations of residents. From there, we seamlessly hand over the baton to our landscape and interior design teams to ensure every element is in harmony. This one-stop-shop philosophy allows us to craft spaces that feel intentional, thoughtful, and entirely tailored to the people who will call them home.
The most rewarding part of my role is seeing how our designs transform not just spaces but lives, creating environments where people can truly thrive."
"Working in Residential Architecture at XBD feels like being part of a dream team where creativity and purpose meet. What excites me most is the opportunity to work closely with clients, really understand their needs, and bring their visions to life. Translating their ideas into functional, beautiful spaces that elevate their everyday lives is incredibly rewarding—it's like building with Lego as a kid, but on a much grander, more sophisticated scale!
One project that stands out for me is Villa Iremia. We managed to blend modern aesthetics with a warm, inviting atmosphere, and it was a real balancing act. But seeing the client's reaction when it all came together was absolutely priceless—that’s the moment when all the hard work feels worthwhile.
What sets XBD apart is our commitment to pushing the boundaries of design while keeping client satisfaction at the core of everything we do. Our dedication to innovation and quality shines through in each project. We push limits, but we genuinely enjoy the process, and I think that spirit is reflected in every home we create."
"Working on residential architecture at XBD Collective is always inspiring. Designing a private home is such a personal process—it’s not just about aesthetics but about understanding each client's lifestyle and preferences on a deeper level. This goes beyond technical skills; it’s about creating a design that feels genuinely connected to the client.
One of my proudest moments was a lavish 9-bedroom mansion in Emirates Hills, where we designed a space that I consider a true architectural gem. It follows the principles of Vastu, blending natural elements and materials to create seamless transitions between indoors and outdoors. This project was a true collaboration between our architecture and interior design teams, sparking creativity and new ideas.
What I appreciate most about XBD is our commitment to creating homes that feel personal and full of life."
"Being part of the XBD team for almost eight years has allowed me to design residential projects and spaces that truly impact our clients' or the end-users' lives. Each project comes with its own unique twist—sometimes it’s a bold idea from the client that we bring to life while ensuring it still feels like home.
One of my most memorable moments was when a family shared how our design transformed their house into a place that truly reflected who they are and how they live.
What I enjoy most about working at XBD as a Senior Architect is the teamwork—everyone brings fresh ideas to the table, and that creative energy pushes us to explore new directions while always keeping the client’s needs front and center."
This project selection highlights some of our most distinguished and award-winning architectural designs, ranging from bespoke residential villas to expansive apartment complexes and master-planned communities. At XBD Collective, we collaborate closely with our clients to transform their visions into reality, crafting spaces that blend individuality, elegance, and functionality.
