Lee Johnston is an accomplished Project Director with extensive experience in the construction and interior fit-out industry. Over the years, he has managed diverse projects, including commercial offices, hospitality spaces, TV studios, and luxury residential developments. His leadership approach focuses on strategic planning, effective team coordination, and client-focused solutions, ensuring each project meets its intended vision, timeline, and budget.

Before joining XBD Collective, Lee held senior positions at Swiss Bureau Interior Design & Build, INC Solutions, and ISG Middle East, where he played a pivotal role in delivering complex projects, including Expo 2020-related fit-outs and large-scale commercial developments. His expertise spans compliance inspections, liaising with consultants and contractors, and overseeing construction methodologies to maintain international quality standards.

Lee’s career has also included roles with Knauf Middle East, where he specialized in high-performance acoustical and fire-rated partition systems, and Maxwell & Sons Construction, where he managed residential projects. His time in the British Army’s Royal Engineers further shaped his discipline, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under high-pressure conditions.
