Celebrating Young Talent
Among the standout nominees, Ramshaa Rayees, shortlisted for FF&E Designer of the Year, brings her vast expertise to the spotlight. Known affectionately as the “Wikipedia of Materials” at XBD Collective, Rayees combines deep knowledge of materials with a passion for innovative yet timeless design. Her role in leading high-profile projects has positioned her as a vital asset to the team, consistently enhancing XBD’s commitment to excellence.
Also recognised is Douha Ahmed, nominated for Young Interior Designer of the Year. Since joining XBD Collective as an intern in 2022, Ahmed’s human-centric approach to design and remarkable creativity have set her apart. Her contributions to projects like the Rixos Residences showcase her potential as a future leader in interior design.
